There’s a common saying in the Fashwan world – and that is ‘there ain’t no party like an Acne party’ or something like that. Anyway, yesterday was a special one because there were not one but TWO Acne events – a luncheon during the day for their new T Shirt project, which combines established artists making designs for limited edition T Shirts. Fab! If you’re an artist and you’d like to get involved with the Swedish wonderbrand then you’ll need to look HERE. The proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to a fund to support emerging artists. We approve.

Then, as if that wasn’t enough excitement for everyone, they used the evening to throw a RI-DONKULOUSLY fun soiree . The theme was “Fantasia Fiesta Flamenco” to celebrate the collaboration with Candy Magazine and the transvestite trangender and cross dressing collection.
Among the guests were Acne’s Creative Director Jonny Johansson, Acne’s CEO Mikael Schiller, amazing singer Lykkie li, Lulu Kennedy, Jodie Harsh, Jonny Woo, Erdem, Jonathan Saunders, Peter Pilotto, Louise Gray, Louise Wilson of Central St Martins, Acne Paper’s Editor in Chief Thomas Persson. Phew. Is it too off-putting to say that poor old Grazia Daily had a mildly sore head this morning?
