Grazia’s trolley dash with Paula Radcliffe!

We thought we had some serious shopping stamina. But then Paula Radcliffe showed us how it’s done. All her marathon training is good for more than bagging Olympic golds, you know. At the newly revamped Nike Town in Oxford Circus, Paula talked us through her new-season must-haves. Like this cosy coat, perfect for today’s hideous howling storms. Look, twiiins!

Unlike us, Paula runs whatever the weather. But the one thing that puts her off her stride is her obsession with colour co-ordination. ‘I hate it if I don’t feel matched,’ she confessed. So she picked up a fluoro crop top from the bra bar to match the flexible sole on her favourite trainers. If we paid more attention to colour-co-ordination, we’d probably run record-breakingly fast too.

Fashion’s obsession with fitness makes perfect sense – bodies and clothes work well together. Look after one and it takes care of the other. Style and sport are new best friends. Is it bad to want this off-the-shoulder fluoro yoga top without any intention of doing a downward dog? We think it could also work perched on a bar stool, sipping a Mai Thai.
