Fresh off the wire this morning, Grazia Daily was greeted by this vampy picture of Daisy Lowe kitted out in a saucy black number. The buxom Brit model was partying at the Dior Illustrated exhibition in London town last night, as part of the International Herald Tribune Heritage Luxury Conference, where illustrations by the legendary René Gruau were on display. How wonderful Daisy looks, we thought, examining her bed head hair - plus flirty fringe - and that voluptuous figure wrapped in Dior leather. But hang on one teeny tiny minute. Haven’t we seen this somewhere before..? Oh my giddy aunt, yes we have!
WOW. Not only did French fancy Marion Cotillard wear the very same A/W ‘10 dress last month for the Parisian premiere of "Les Petits Mouchoirs" but she accessorised it with carbon copy locks, an identical jacket, gothic nails and cracking cleavage. They're such dead ringers, it's almost too unfair to compare the two - but we’re going to do it anyway. Because while Daisy kept her look winter-appropriate with a pair of cosy tights, and added an edge of London cool with those Dior Cavaliere buckled boots, there’s no doubt she’s shamelessly pickpocketed Marion’s style. And who can blame her? In fact, we haven’t seen such peas in a pod (that is not a euphemism) since Carey Mulligan battled Michelle Williams. So this, dear friends, is what we call a may-jah frock-off. Fight, fight, fight!
Now that we’ve got the contenders, all that’s needed is your verdict. We know it’s a toughie but we’re desperate to know who wore Dior best. Go thrash it out below...
