DAPHNE GUINNESS: 'It Takes Me Ten Minutes To Get Dressed'

21 October 2010

'I think about [what I'm going to wear] five minutes before.... I grab whatever's nearest... and just run out of the house.... it takes me ten minutes [to get dressed]... '

GUESS which major style icon told us the above earlier this week?

Bronwyn Gosgrave, Stephen Jones, Yasmin Le Bon and Daphne Guinness discuss who will be the winning designer

Surely NOT Daphne Guinness, who we bumped into when she was judging the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize? Surely not Daphne, who, that very night, was wearing a silver sequinned bias cut gown, with a white lace mantilla, and matching freakzoid contact lenses, plus ten tons of (blatantly real) diamond jewellery?

Well, yes, actually it was Daphne. As you will see in the video below where she professes to barely giving any of her out-there outfits a second thought, as well as telling us about her 'down time' outfit of choice, AND her current tip for the designer to watch...
