The Fashion World Supports Art Against Knives

13 October 2010

We love it when a good cause gets the fashion crowd on board. So hurrah for a host of lovely designers including Christopher Kane to Hussein Chalayan who have donated amazing bespoke pieces to the charity Art Against Knives ( And now's your chance to get your fashion mitts on one of these one-off collector dresses, shoes and jewels on sale at You'll not only look fabulous, but feel pretty good about yourself too - and that can't be a bad thing.
Art Against Knives, which relies on the much valued support of the fashion and art world, was established after the tragic and unprovoked stabbing of Oliver Hemsley, a 21-year-old student from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in 2008, and aims to reduce the root cause of knife crime through youth-led arts initiatives. So it makes us really proud of our industry to know that designers including Giles Deacon, Philip Treacy and Nicholas Kirkwood are just a few of Art Against Knives’ supporters who are helping. Make sure you check out their covetable, exclusive pieces online or catch them in the last few days of the Mayfair exhibition at the CoutureLab boutique.

So don't miss out on these stunning designers - and your chance to help an incredible cause! In the meantime, check out our behind-the-scenes video below...
