It's finally here; after a killer NYFW, it's now London's turn to have the spotlight cast upon it as London Fashion Week started this morning, with the Brit show season's traditional opener of Paul Costelloe kicking off the proceedings with his catwalk presentation at the BFC tents at Somerset House.

Grazia Daily, as ever, is more excited than is probably sensible, considering the amount of walking in high heels that is about to be done. This season, we're uber-enthusiastic - about everything - but especially about the prospect of Acne's first show on Sunday afternoon, checking out Michael van der Ham's new collection, Henry Holland's latest offerings (check out our exclusive preview chat with him on the very first installment of Grazia TV) and of COURSE about our Giles' first show at LFW for, like, ages.

We're obviously super-excited about the big guns' shows as well - Christopher Bailey offers up this season's Burberry Prorsum collection on Tuesday and Vivienne Westwood will undoubtedly pull out all the stops for her SS/11 Red Label collection which she shows on Sunday.

In addition, naturellement, we'll be doing some serious FROW spotting and hoping to beat last season's top FROW at Burberry (remember Kate Hudson, Mary-Kate Olsen, Rachel Zoe, Kristen Stewart and Olivia Palermo, oui?) So stick with us people, because we'll be bringing you reviews of the best collections and bleary-eyed accounts of the most fa-abulous parties as soon as they happen. Watch this space! And in the meantime, check out the British Fashion Council setting up the show tent below...
