Plus-size heroine Crystal Renn walked the catwalk for Zac Posen's new Z Spoke collection at New York Fashion Week last night. The UK size 14 model wore a pale yellow ruffled all-in-one with appliqued flowers, and, according to Renn, she's the perfect representative for the brand; 'I got to know [Zac] and to hear him talk about it he gets a woman. He wants women to be able to fit [into his clothes] and to be able to buy them. They’re making the clothes for my size and everything. This is how fashion should be.'

This is not Renn's first appearance on the international catwalks. In February, she famously appeared in Mark Fast's groundbreaking show at LFW alongside other plus-sized models. Following an appearance on the catwalk for the Chanel Cruise collection in May this year, the model was photographed for Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld - although only for a poster advertising the re-opening of the luxury house's New York store.

One of her first catwalk appearances was for Jean Paul Gaultier's catwalk way back in 2006, and the designer recently cast her as the face of his new A/W'10 ad campaign.

But Miami-born Renn is clearly thrilled to finally be walking on the runway at New York Fashion Week, saying; 'I'm freaking out. Zac is one of the ones you want. Zac, Calvin and Marc are the big three. I booked one of my three'.

Let Grazia Daily be the first to say: come on, Calvin and Marc!
