Who would turn down an invite from Karl Lagerfeld? Judging by the role call of A-list guests celebrating the reopening of a New York Chanel store, absolutely nobody! Sarah Jessica Parker, Liv Tyler, Diane Kruger, Claire Danes, Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, buckets full of mega models and Gossip Girls (and boys) galore, turned out in all their Chanel glory to the party in SoHo, which kicked off New York Fashion Week. Diane went super glam in layers and layers of ruffles, while Liv kept it casual in black trousers and two-tone brogues, but naturally everyone looked amazing – of course they did, it’s hard to look anything but in Chanel!
