We often wonder - what exactly is it like being Lady Gaga? Living in that crazy whirl of hype, dashing around town, hounded by the press and all those little monsters, while simultaneously trying to wrangle impossibly silly outfits.
Well, now we can see for ourselves. As the superstar has shot an arty little film for fashion photographer Nick Knight's website SHOWstudio. Her directorial debut is a Gaga's eye view of her limo-to-venue experience of fans and photographers (and if you thought Kate Moss' LA paparazzi experience was bad, wait til you see this). It's supershort and black and white and, frankly a little shaky (I think we call that 'reportage'). But mercifully, Gagaloo wasn't shooting through a lace veil or wearing cigarette covered sunglasses. We assume.
SHOWstudio, who have often collaborated with the singer over the past year, with various photoshoots and interviews, describe the film as 'Lady Gaga’s vision of the left eye - inspired by her experiences at the very eye of a storm of publicity which has made her one of the most famous faces on the planet'.
A second exclusive film with Lady Gaga will be launched on the site next Wednesday - so watch this space..
