Before the weekend hits, we’ve got another bevvy of Best Dressers to get you in the mood for donning your party wear... Have a gander, kids...
We start with this beauty. Last night in Leicester Square, Grazia Daily had the pleasure of walking the blue carpet alongside Drew Barrymore at the world premiere of ‘Going The Distance’ (which is hilarious, FYI). And may we say, she really is as delightful as expected. Not least because it seems the actress looked for inspiration from our very our own national icons - we’re talking Moss and Miller, obvs – as well as turning to a Brit designer for her casual-cool ensemble. Yep, the girl did us proud in a simple draped McQ by Alexander McQueen dress, clinched by a fierce Balmain belt and YSL Trib Twos for slender pins a go-go. As for that slick of deep crimson lippy, it only reaffirms yesterday's musings that the goth-meets-burlesque lip as seen on the Missoni catwalk is the way to go this Autumn. The one issue that's dividing Grazia HQ is that two-tone hair of hers... What do you make of the boho-esque mass of waves and teeny plaits - too scrappy or er, blue carpet worthy?
Onto our old favourite, it's Jennifer Aniston. Earlier this week, Jen revealed she looks to Cameron Diaz and Cate Blanchett for style inspiration, so how did she fare against her fashionable peers for an appearance on the 'Daily Show' yesterday? Well, her Dolce & Gabbana tweed shift with a fringed hem combines Cate’s classic elegance with Cameron’s laid-back (and leggy) look so we reckon she’s done pretty darn well.
And look at little Kristen Bell! The actress threw on her glad rags for the grand opening of Louis Vuitton’s benefit for ‘Heal The Bay’ sporting a cute combo of a heart-print shirt + matching pleated skater skirt. We love how K.Bell has played it cool but with a funky twist. What a good girl.
Blimey, is that Batwoman? Rachel Zoe joined Kristen at the LV event but opted for a more, er, striking approach... Those enormously puffy sleeves on her fancy-pants outfit remind us of Rihanna’s Dolce & Gabbana suit she rocked for the Met Ball a couple of years ago, remember? But thanks to the full skirt, emphasised by a waist-defining sash, plus that sophisticated up ‘do, La Zoe ensures she stays true to her ladylike vibe. All that’s needed is a bright clutch for a subtle colour-pop, and don’t she look swell? We say yes! Do you?
