Alexander Wang has chosen the medium of film for the A/W campaign. In a video shot by Craig McDean and art directed by Fabien Baron, Abbey Lee Kershaw writhes around in convincing arty distress in a deserted building in New York while what look like paper napkins fly at her.
Although he made his name with the super casual ‘model off duty’ jersey separates, Wang has started to include more and more formal pieces, and the vid features dark, gothy mesh tops as well as smart tailored jackets.
We say – very atmospheric indeed. AND the clothes look lovely!
