It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Ever since Emma Watson shocked the world by chopping off her tresses into a Jean Seberg-esque pixie crop, Grazia Daily has been itching to see it in motion. And this morning, we found the evidence we’ve been after!
Emma was at the launch of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″ in London yesterday and showed off her new hair do to announce the film's official countdown. Check out the video footage for yourselves below:
Adorable, no? What more proof do we need that la Watson has officially transformed from the cutie pie Hermione Granger to an edgy trendsetter who isn’t afraid of a little experimentation? As the Harry Potter star said herself, the drastic cut is “the most liberating thing ever" so has it awakened her more daring side? We think so. Because distracting our focus from Emma’s pretty little head is the lace playsuit she’s sporting from the Alice by Temperley Cruise 2010 collection.

The quirky design is a brave departure from the pretty William Tempest frocks and floor-sweeping Ossie Clark gowns she’s been known to wear on the red carpet, especially in light of today's revelation that men equate lacey garments with promiscuity.
So now that Emma’s ditched the wizard cloak, lopped off those girlie locks and bagged herself a rock star boyf, does this signify a new direction for one of our favourite British style icons? One thing’s for sure, we’ll be on serious Watson-watch from now on!
