Oh how we love a celeb-packed party! And those folk over at Blackberry gave us just that when they rounded up a gaggle of starlets to celebrate the launch of the new Torch, or something. But we say gadgets, schmadgets because what we really wanna see is the glad rags, so let’s get on with today’s gander, shall we?
Lea Michele has been doing a sterling job of letting the world know she’s no geek, and yesterday she used a Jenni Kayne Resort ensemble to give off that grown-up vibe, but is it a tad too ‘fusty GMTV presenter’ for the young starlet? We reckon she should take a cue from Twilighter Nikki Reed who sported a similar metallic palette - and the very same Brian Atwood heels no less (yoikes!) - but kept the look funky with an interesting draped design and eye-catching pattern.
Christina Ricci and Amber Valetta also know how to keep things interesting with their hypnotising prints. We’re particularly loving the way Christina’s kept the focus on her silk paisley prin top by teaming it with a sleek black skirt and matching accessories – plus that rich new hair colour and crop is working wonders for her overall cuteness. Wednesday Addams, who?
We move onto another Twilight actress (there’s no way of escaping them, people). Anna Kendrick kept it simple in an LBD - yawn or yay, we can’t decide – while Kristin Cavallari played up to her golden girl image with this ruched camel number, which is a very on-trend tone we might add.
Apparently all this blackness is contagious because a couple of 90210-ers went for noir too - although considering this is in aid of Blackberry, we’ll let them off. Is it just us thinking Jessica Lowndes looks more Megan Fox-like with each envelope-opening? Either way, this zip-up body-con shift she wore last night is certainly aiding the Foxy effect... Meanwhile, we’re happy to see co-star Shenae Grimes has ditched that bizarre sofa throw but is the rocker combo of leather trousers + knee-high boots an improvement? Finally, we see it’s not just American girls who are suckers for a new Blackberry because our very own Kelly Brook arrived in all her splendour wearing - would you believe it! - a little black frock. Well you know what the say, old habits die hard and all that...
