Most of us could happily watch Mad Men with the sound off. It's aaall about those gorgeous Sixties outfits - so ladylike, so subversively sexy - no wonder that is the style that ended up on the catwalks for A/W'10 at Louis Vuitton, Prada, Miu Miu, Dries van Noten, Fendi etc etc. Well, how about shopping in the actual Mad Men wardrobe for your new-season clothes? This dream can now come true because the lovely people behind-the-scenes on the show have donated costumes and props to an eBay auction to raise money for a lung cancer charity.
The ten-day auction goes live on eBay tonight at midnight, PST (no, us neither; apparently that is 7am GMT tomorrow [Friday] - set the alarm!).

Infuriatingly, there is currently only a holding page for the sale, but the blurb promises "a variety of vintage ‘60s furniture and props from the show’s iconic Sterling Cooper ad agency, including a number of pieces from the offices of Don Draper and Roger Sterling. Additional items include a dress worn by Betty at the Stork Club, one worn by Joan in the famous lawn-mower episode, and the dress worn by Bobbie Barrett during her night on the town with Don".

You can even bid on a walk-on role in the show, which will hopefully involve 'working under' Don Draper *wink, wink*
Anyway, here are the Mad Men dresses we've been drooling over which will hopefully be for sale in the auction! Good luck, everyone!
