Last Night's Best Dressed: glam rocks!

heidi klum italy

Today’s mass of muses begins with Heidi Klum swathed in a delicious maxi. So after being flooded by so many styles this summer, what is it about this one? Firstly, those layers of chiffon really caught our eye - creating an interesting cascade of tiers as they do – and the floral design is super sweet, plus Heidi’s understated beauty look keeps the overall effect truly effortless. Doesn’t she look so relaxed yet simply chic floating around the Italian Riviera with her beloved hubby and cuter-than-cute kids? Yup, it’s enough to turn any girl green with envy...

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been entertained by Anna Friel’s wardrobe choices. Remember that fabulous parade of fashwan delights she gave us, slipping out of the backstage door after appearing in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ each night? Well yesterday, we were treated to another brilliant showstopper. Spotted leaving the Groucho club, the gorgeous English rose looked super-elegant in a monochromatic combo of a feminine ivory blouse and high-waisted black skirt, polished off with a slick of red lippy. But what makes this one extra lovely is that ankle-biting length and mermaid-esque kick at the hem. Oh how proud Holly Golightly would be!

Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. How we love your bonkers style! But wait, this champagne shift is more VB-sleek than La Love nutterness! And with that Wintour-inspired blow-dry, sensible black tights and no tattoos in sight, she looks positively grown-up. Well, who'da thunk it? But come sunset, Court was back to her trademark bohemian rock-star style with a whole lotta black, a dash of lace and, er, more black - yet still with a sophisticated edge. Impressive, no?

Now, after that Courtney confusion, we couldn’t possibly sign off without a quick injection of sheer kookiness. Step forward Paloma Faith. Thank goodness we can rely on this songstress to up her fashion act and never shy from a little experimentation. And may we say that we find this two-tone ensemble particularly becoming. Mmm...humbug anyone?
