Here at Grazia HQ we’re firm believers that a scarf is not just for staying cosy. From throwing one on in that nonchalant way only French girls seem to have mastered – jealous? Nah! - to tying one to our ponytails for the new season’s Fifties look, the possibilities are endless. With Hermès launching ‘J'aime mon carré’, a dedicated website and fanzine to their famous printed silk squares featuring much-needed instructions on how to tie, knot and wear them, it becomes official: the scarf is back!

If you’re anything like us, no matter how many times you fold and twist that simple piece of fabric you always end up looking less like Audrey Hepburn and more like a demented person that ought to stay indoors and watch Funny Face half a dozen times. It’s a fortunate stroke of serendipity then that Liberty are launching their Scarf Camp this week and needless to say, we’ll be there! Hosting a series of events with some of their best-selling labels and designers in attendance – starting on Thursday with the Lin Beeser Project, make sure to visit for a chance to meet the designers, get some valuable insider tips and receive a limited gift with purchase from selected designers.

We particularly love Richard Weston’s collection, exclusive to Liberty, of incredible prints created by taking close-up photographs of minerals and precious stones and the super-large tasseled designs by Swash, especially when the designers’ dog Candy the Whippet makes an appearance! It’s just like we said; a scarf, just like a dog, is for life.
