FIRST LOOK: Sofia films for Dior – again!

Sofia Coppola’s sweet-stroll-around-Paris ad campaign for Dior’s Miss Dior Cherie perfume stole our hearts a year and a half ago and it looks like the same might happen all over again! Last month’s announcement that Natalie Portman will be the new face for Parfums Christian Dior was exciting but not exactly a huge surprise – after all, we expected a luxury house to snap up the fresh-faced star sometime soon!

Here’s how we put two and two together! Natalie was spotted filming a Dior ad at the Parc Monceau in Paris last week looking adorable in a short black tiered dress and locking lips with a handsome young man, Robert Schwartzman, who also happens to be Sofia’s cousin and brother to actor Jason Schwartzman – or King Louis XVI to Kirsten Dunst’s Marie Antoinette.

Sofia was also seen filming on location in Paris the same week, looking her usual hip-yet-chic self in a chambray shirt and moccasins. Are you with us? Although no official details have emerged so far as to which perfume Natalie will be representing or on Sofia’s project, we know we want the two to be linked because can you think of a more perfect Parisian scene than a beautiful American girl falling in love with a gorgeous man as seen through the eyes of Sofia Coppola? We thought not.
