News reaches us this morning that a private memorial service for Alexander McQueen has been set. The Gucci Group has confirmed it will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Monday, 20th September, during London Fashion Week.
Following the private funeral took place at the same cathedral in February this year, the month the British designer died, the memorial service will celebrate the designer’s life and work, industry bible WWD reports. Family, friends and colleagues, of McQueen, are expected to attend.
