Orlando and Miranda earlier this month when he received an honorary degree from the University of Kent during a ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.
Following last week's surprise news that Penelope Cruz had become Mrs Javier Bardem, we've just heard that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have finally tied the knot after two years of dating. The newly-weds are now on honeymoon at a secret location.
The news broke in a slightly-less-than-romantic way after Kerr's publicist released a statement in which the model thanked Aussie retailer David Jones for allowing her to skip an in-store appearance that would have clashed with the wedding; "David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together. I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family, I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life." (And we reckon the store will get over Miranda's last-minute no-show: we can't help thinking that a name-check in this context will get the brand waaay more global publicity than any photos of her cutting the ribbon at their new branch).
Before that, Kerr did find time to squeeze in a photoshoot for Jil Sander's new A/W '10 campaign - this is the Victoria's Secret's model's second prestigious high fashion campaign this season; Prada has also cast her in its ads.
All this and true love too; ain't life grand?
