Last Night's Best Dressed: get classy!

Happily for us, Marion Cotillard is storming her way through her red carpet parade for ‘Inception’, and for the latest treat on her fashion conveyor belt? A L'Wren Scott A/W ‘10 dress and matching Christian Dior shoes for a fine example of French chic. While this super-sleek option is something we’d expect to see wrapped around Nicole Kidman’s slender frame, we’re awarding La Cotillard full points for using it to keep things interesting in contrast to that floaty Thakoon frock she chose for the London festivities. Ah yes, we knew we could count on you for a touch of class, M.Co.

Joining Marion at yesterday’s LA premiere was the lovely and not-so-little-any-more Ellen Page who perfectly amplified her pixieness with this ruched green number from Yigal Azrouël’s Resort 2011 collection, teamed with a pair of black peep-toe booties. Her decision to leave the accessories at home is a bold move that ensures a fuss-free result – no Quality Street sweet wrapper jokes here please. Besides, surely a swave looking Leonardo DiCaprio is adornment enough?

Eva Mendes also brought a bold splash of vibrancy to the Hollywood Hills when she hosted a screening of ‘Network’ last night. There’s no doubt her classy Azzaro A/W ‘10 frock of aqua snake print makes an unexpected impact, but we’re quite taken aback by that prim and proper pussybow neckline, the First Lady-esque pleated skirt and pretty puff sleeves. Can this really be the same girl who wore nothing but a bedsheet for those saucy CK ads?

It’s no secret that Mary Kate Olsen is one lady whose style Grazia Daily loves to keep an eye on and the ensemble we spied her working while out and about in NYC yesterday is an absolute corker. The high necked white blouse + belted skirt is very Sicilian gal about town, especially with that oversized crucifix for a ‘Alejandro’-inspired touch, while those lace up boots ensure a modern Florence Welsh-esque flair, and we cannot stop drooling over her favourite beaten-up Birkin. Serious swoon!

But finally, we deliver a heart-stopping moment from Paloma Faith. We’re seeing a fierce concoction of a rubber beret (!), swishy tassels, clashing prints and a good dose of bling. We honestly don’t know where to start which means it must be time to pass the judging baton over to you savvy lot. Please take it away in the box below...
