Holy moly! Forget Team Edward vs Team Jacob, here at Chez Grazia, we’ve spent the morning lusting over Ashley Greene. And what a stunner she is! Seriously, who needs supernatural hunks when you have a magnificent fash-over to get those knees all a-shaking eh? Ok, Taylor Lautner’s torso wouldn’t go a miss, too...ahem.
For starters, you’d be forgiven for doing a double-take at the sight of the edgy-cool beauty gracing this month’s issue of ASOS magazine. Seriously, we barely recognised the actress best known for playing Alice Cullen in vampire-flick-of-joy 'Twilight' (you might’ve heard of it?).
Although we’ve spotted her looking fang-tastic recently (sorry. It's Monday. We're tired), it’s often Kristen Stewart's effortless moodiness that grabs the style spotlight - but we have an inkling that’s all set to change. Because this is Ashley as we’ve never see her before, all spruced up and flashing enough smouldering stares to give Edward’s intense brooding a run for its very dreamy money. And FYI, the interview reveals that this model behaviour is thanks to Mummy Greene enrolling her teenage daughter for modeling classes to overcome Ashley's low self esteem (no pressure then, kid).
Nevertheless, the lessons clearly paid off, and what a transformation we see! Gone is Alice’s Anthea-Turner-inspired spiky bob, hobo-esque fingerless woolen gloves and bulky scarves (surely these century-old gazillionaire vamps can afford a stylist, no?). In their place, we see a sleek and sultry starlet enrobbed in everything from Chloé to Sass & Bide. Hooray!
And this is one lady who’s studied the style rules: “I like to do things in moderation. I don’t like the trashy look," Ashley reveals. "So if I’m wearing a short skirt and heels, I’ll cover up on top... At night it’s darker colors, a little bit sexier, a little bit edgier, and I’ll wear heels…if you go really natural during the day, you can transform into this alter ego at night”. Ah yes, a girl after our own heart. Plus, get this tasty tit-bit: her stylist is none other than Cristina Ehrlich, who Nicole Richie turned to post-Rachel Zoe fallout, so rest assured this gal is in good hands. It’s enough to cause the fashwan equivalent of a tweenage scrum, or something.
Speaking of which, GraziaDaily's been lucky enough to see 'Eclipse' already (nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh) and we can tell you it is FAB - and a little bit scary, which we love - obv. So to keep you stirring with excitement until the film’s official release on 9th July (just FOUR days Twihards!), cover up those tasty white necks and get your teeth into the trailer below. Honestly, we could happily watch this aaaall day...
