When Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Suri Cruise popped into the world, Grazia was prepared for the ultimate rugrat fash-off. With great genes on their side and buckets of money at their fingertips, it was bound to be a good’un and every fashion blogger was on Kid Watch (including us).
Suri was barely out of her baby grow and already a style icon, storming ahead with endless fash-tastic shopping sprees kitted out like a little princess. Rumours surfaced that Katie Holmes spent a cool $2million on the teeny toddler’s wardrobe, splurging on custom-made clothes by Armani, Versace, Cavalli and Burberry, plus specially-made shoes by Christian Louboutin (anyone else feeling like they had a deprived childhood?). Soon enough, Suri was dubbed the world’s most fashionable toddler and No.1 on Forbes' list of favourite celebrity children under five. Nice work.
So what of little Shiloh? Her low-maintenance look was being bypassed by the trendsetters – until she threw a curveball. First, it was the jeans + trainers + hoodie combos, next the boyish haircut, then Daddy Pitt announced she “only wants to be called John.” Curiouser and curiouser...and supercute! Shiloh had found her style and it didn’t involve pink frills or teeny tiny kitten heels - hurrah! Just see how dapper her tomboy-ness is here:
And now Angelina has revealed that her eldest daughter is desperate to be a mini-Brad. During an interview for the August issue of Vanity Fair, the actress admits, “She likes tracksuits, she likes suits... She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. She thinks she's one of the brothers.” So sweet! And after seeing those shots of Lady Gaga going all androgynous on us this morning, surely it’s only a matter of time before more of the fash pack play up to the gender guessing game... Go, go Shiloh! Woops sorry, we mean John.
