It's the ultimate music festival of the year and it all kicked off this weekend with an array of A-listers emerging from the mud, ranging from Hollywood heavy hitters to the usual suspects (we're talking about you, Kate, Sienna, Alexa). So naturally, today's offering of the weekend's Best Dressers focuses on the fash fest that is the Glastonbury wardrobe - or as we've fondly come to call it, "The Glast'robe". Trust us, you're in for an absolute treat...

We begin by asking the question, is Emma Watson the new festival princess? Judging from this opening outfit of hers, she's certainly off to a decent start, for this is a good lesson in turning high fashion into festival wear. Not only has the Brit deftly dressed up her denim Hudson shorts with a cute and classy curve-creating bustier, adapted from Louis Vuitton's AW10 catwalk, but those Christian Louboutin welly boots are an ideal addition for the trademark Glasto touch. Not to mention having a Burberry-model-meets-cool-musician on your arm in the shape of George Craig to up the rock 'n' roll factor... And when the sun goes down, just throw on a preppy cardie. Take note, Geldofs.

And just to prove a point, here's our Em giving Alexa Chung, aka: 2010's festie fashion icon, a run for her money (eek, anyone smell a style showdown?). So here's what we have - one floaty blouse tucked into denim cut offs? Check. A dash of leopard print? Course. An orange cup to hand? Er, yep. See, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and who better to copy cat than La Chung to cement your sartorial status? We always knew that Watson was a smart one...

But of course, Alexa held her own by cracking out more tomboy classics. Her dungaree dress worn over an embroidered peasant blouse is ever so on trend and as the newly named face of Lacoste's forthcoming fragrance, it's no surprise to see her chilling in a nautical-inspired stripy dress from the brand's SS10 collection. Very good work.

And the Daisy Dukes just kept on coming! Next, a pair of Twenty8Twelves on the leggy legs of Sienna Miller (hurrah for her back-to-Boho-ness!) and Kelis, both looking fabulously fuss-free. We're adoring the addition of chunky lace-up boots for an original spin on the trend.

But what of the reigning Queen of the Festival Style scene, we hear you cry. Well, fear not because Kate Moss is not one to miss out on the chance to boogie with the best of them and parade her killer clobber. Hell no! And, as you can see, the Rapunzel extensions are out and the wash-and-wear hair is back, which means she's ready to get down and dirty. Hurrah! The holey fishnets are firmly in place, she's getting in on the denim shorts action and she has her rocker boy to hand. Ok, so this may be a more low-key look for the lady who made sequinned vintage capes essential festie wear but that shirt-meets-jacket means she fits in with all those old school Glasto goers who'd rather don something from an Army surplus store than wear a pricey waxed jacket.

Of course, Florence Welch was wafting among the revellers in between belting out tunes on stage, and the results were just as Grazia expected. It's no secret Grazia cannot get enough of Flo's floaty take on Festival Fashion and this easy-breezy white D&G frock is an ideal choice for the sludge-free occassion. So as much as we love them, does this signal the end of mud-soaked wellies and raincoats as essential festie wear? SHOCKING, we know.

One lady who certainly seems to think so is Paloma Faith and her wack-tastic wardrobe. She jaunted about in a shimmering state of kooky gloriousness, going full fashwan on us with an oversized green hair bow, spangily gold jumpsuit and matchy-matchy heels (perfect for a mid-afternoon dance sesh), while Kate Nash also provided a refreshing flash of colour with her distinctive ensemble from Co Op Designs, polished off with a pair of Diesel sunnies. Who needs Katy Perry when you have this pair, eh?

But MTV presenter, Laura Whitmore, proved that Hunter wellies are still a firm favourite for the fash pack despite the sweltering temps. S'pose some things just never go out of fashion...

And finally, who's this adding a touch of A-list glam to the Brit Pack scene? None other than Kate Hudson, that's who. The actress has steered clear of 2010's festival circuit thus far but she descended on Glasto in support of her new beau, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. And without a rain drop in sight, Kate kept cool thanks to her customary LA casual chic. Bravo!
