It’s bad enough having to choose between The Gorillaz and The XX tonight (both are headlining on different stages), but the drive down to Glastonbury has thrown up an even bigger dilemma: Is it going to be too hot for Hunters? And if it is, what are we going to wear instead?
Judging by the size of the suitcases jammed into the people carrier this morning, you’d think our party posse would have all Glastrobe (Glastonbury wardrobe) bases covered. I’ve even bought some new festival perfume – Le Labo Patchouli – as a finishing touch.
What is for sure is that Glastonbury 2010 is set to be a biggie. The sun’s shining, we’ve got our wristbands and have made the unanimous decision to stay to watch the England match on Sunday afternoon. Of course the rumour mill is whirring away like crazy - will Sienna show up for the first time in five years and turn the Kate-Alexa show into a three way festival fashion off?
Plus, after all the excitement of Vampire Weekend, Dizzee Rascal and Vanilla Ice (he played last night!), we've totally lucked out with lovely comfy mattresses (proper beds) to sleep on at the Old Barn in Croscombe. Call me a cheat but it doesn’t get much better than this.
