A Week in the Style of Katy Perry

Oh K to the Pezzle, how we’re pleased to have you back on stages, red carpets and general envelope openings to promote your new single California Gurls (which, BTW, we have on repeat much the delight of the few boys we actually have in the office – see the video below!) Ok, so whilst we’re not really taking any serious style tips - we don’t have many opportunities to stick swirly candy lollipops to our pink sequinned bustiers - one has to admit that without her the fashion world would be a less rainbow coloured and rubber latex-y place. Which could only be a bad thing.

Talking of rubber, there’s been three, yes, three, rubber dresses that KP has talcum powdered (we imagine) her perfectly voluptuous body into this week – one club tropicana, one cupcake and one union jack and American flag hybrid (in honour of the USA vs England game, natch, we were wearing something similar ourselves).

But Perry’s kookiness doesn’t stop there. Hell, no. A LBD with surrealist white hands appliquéd on (this is surely a rising trend, first Marina Diamandis, then Diana Vickers – look out for more!), a fully fringed ombré one shouldered number (from ASOS, wouldya believe it), a bright yellow leopard print Dolce dress, a turquoise sequinned tie up Ashish mini and let's not forgetting those ah-mah-zinggg candy striped boots from Chanel Resort 2010.

There have been a couple of normal fashion moments too, but how do you prefer to see Miss-soon-to-be-Russell-Brand? Crazy or just casually cute?
