Lee Alexander McQueen’s ashes have been scattered on the Isle of Skye, in a place called Kilmuir, which was a wish he had mentioned while he was alive. In a statement, his family said “Lee cherished the times that he was able to spend on the Isle of Skye — he enjoyed the beauty, peace and tranquility.” It is thought that a memorial service for McQueen, who killed himself in February, will take place later this year, although a date has not yet been finalized.
