Jonathan Saunders is Scottish Designer of the Year!

The winner being congratulated by designer Amanda Wakeley

HUGE Congratulations to Jonathan Saunders, on winning the award for Scottish Designer of the Year! We’ve long admired his graphic prints and sporty silhouettes (not to mention his chiselled good looks!) so we’re thrilled to hear the news that he’s taken home the prize from the ceremony in Glasgow. He’ll doubtless be in a triumphant mood this week as the news of his win comes directly before the launch of his Resort Collection in London tonight, which features an extra-feminine floral motif throughout. Mmm mmm, gorgeous!

Another result from the night making us happy, was Holly Fulton being crowned ‘Young Designer of the Year’ by the Scottish board. Holly’s only just been awarded catwalk show sponsorship by the NEWGEN panel, and we can’t wait for her next collection either! Roll on SS11! Oh - and not to forget Paolo Nutini - who was apparently bemused to take home a gong proving him to be Scottish Style Icon of the Year!
