Cheryl Watch: Versus by Christopher Kane!

CHERYL COLE VERSUS X FACTOR KANE

And she’s off! Yesterday, Cheryl Cole continued the fabulous fashion parade that is her X Factor wardrobe with an absolute corker of an outfit. And while Dannii's tucked away in Oz awaiting the birth of baby Minogue, our favourite dimpled Geordie stole the style limelight in a whirl of vivacity, and without a fash-off in sight (phewf!).

It was just a few hours before that she jetted into Heathrow after taking a sunny summer holiday with hunky dancer Derek Hough (read all about it in this week’s issue, out today!) but, like the hard working poppet she is, Chezza got straight down to X Factor business for the London auditions. And much to the delight of us eager fashion watchers, she slipped her dinky frame into a marvellous red dress by Versus - Donatella Versace’s diffusion line designed by Grazia fave, Christopher Kane.

As Kane said when presenting the AW10 collection back in February, the playful frock with a bouncy pleated chiffon skirt is as cute as a cupcake, making it the perfect match for the nation's beloved sweetheart. But of course, it’s not all about the dress, because Cheryl added her own twist with a pair of Christian Louboutin Bikini 140 pony pumps, earings by Zoe & Morgan and dainty Links of London bracelets. Perfection, no?

And with that, our Chez obsession has recommenced. Of course, we’ll be watching her every wardrobe move as we wait in anticipation for what the lady who’s left WAGs in her wake will come up with next... Will she be backing the best of British once again or can we expect her to rekinde her love for all things Alexander Wang this series? Only time will tell so place your bets now, folks - and while you’re at it, get voting above to let us know whether this latest offering is eek! or chic!
