Dust off your Best Dressed specs and take a look at this lovely lot who were taking a spin on the, er, pink carpet at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London last night. Prepare for a fash fest, frock watchers!

After hearing that La Chung is the new ‘face’ of Lacoste perfume, we’re in a particularly Alexa-loving mood this morning, and her dapper outfit here only serves to boost it. It’s simple, it’s classy, it’s perfect for trotting off to school in – especially with that cute-as-pie pink hair clip. Overall, we can't really fault it. What a skilled young lady she is...

First off, we demand to know Yasmin Le Bon’s secret. How does she stay so effervescent and evergreen? Because, as usual, the mega model looked simply spellbinding floating into the Royal Academy swathed in an explosion of sheer elegance, which pleases us very much. And how adorable is that Heidi-esque hair do? Very adorable indeed.

Over to Grazia fave, Ben Grimes, who also cracked out her killer legs in a thigh-skimming mini dress but the pastel tone keeps it individual, especially when toughened up by a few goth touches, including a skull necklace, studded clutch and bold wedges. We can only dream of achieving such coolness...

The very wonderful Poppy Delevigne was similarly summer-ready in her pretty pale ensemble. Top marks for wearing such a simple sweater, allowing the ruffled skirt to take centre stage without going overboard, and LOVING the banadage-inspired sandals for a subtle contrast. Fresh, chic and sweet enough to eat – it’s all a girl needs.

Super stylist of the moment, Caroline Sieber, makes this Best Dressing malarky look so simple. Here she is striking a pose after throwing on a shimmering party dress of futuristic inclination that appeals to the magpie in us, topped off with some rather funky Louboutins – are those little hoop earrings we spy dangling from the sides? How marvellous!

Although not a regular on our Best Dressed list, we’re happy to see Donna Air following the pastel suit in her frothy frock with a clever waist-amplifying wrap design on the hip. The jury’s still out on those peep toe ankle boots though - they’re a tad too fancy spaceman meets 90s Spice Girl for us...

But saving the best till last, we leave you with a nutsy number courtesy of artist Grayson Perry, who makes Gaga look bland (which is quite a feat, no?). But we’ll let you make your own mind up because, honestly, we’re pretty much dumbstruck... So lunchtime it is!
