Last night Calvin Klein released a statement that finally confirmed rumours that have been circulating for months - that Lara Stone was announced as the label's the "exclusive Face", and would be fronting the A/W'10 global advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein, and Calvin Klein Jeans.
The Calvin Klein Collection campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles, California, and shows a sultry-yet-androgynous Lara in bold black and white shots. "I conceived my fall 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind,” the label's creative director Francisco Costa told WWD. “For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.”

Mert and Marcus also shot Lara for for Calvin Klein Jeans, accessorised by several male models, (including A.J., Sid Ellisdon, Grayson Vaughan, and Eric Anderson), with Lara sporting the new lean fit style Jeans X, sitting on a park bench, with her legs stretched provocatively far apart.
For the ck Calvin Klein campaign, the brand's consulting creative director Fabien Baron shot Stone in San Pedro, California on the site of a former factory, alongside models Abbey Lee Kershaw, and male models Christopher Michaut, Oleg Antosik, and Yin. Lara previously appeared in the A/W'07 campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans and A/W'08 campaign for ck Calvin Klein beauty.
This is thought to be the first time that one model has fronted all three of Calvin Klein's biggest fashion campaigns. Last night's statement acknowledges that Stone is "considered to be one of today’s most high profile models" and claims she "will be featured exclusively in the Fall 2010 advertising campaigns", posing the question - will Lara no longer be modelling for anyone else?
