Mrs Jones, also known as Fee Doran, has had more fashion incarnations than most cats have lives. After training as a designer in the 80's, she went from being a Portabello Road market girl, to Duran Duran’s stylist, to one-time collaborator with Giles Deacon.

And all this before she designed THAT catsuit for a certain Miss Minogue in her video for ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head'.

Fast forward to 2010 and she’s moved on to dressing the likes of Cheryl,

She’s re-doubling her efforts in 2010, not only hanging around backstage with celebs but launching her own line, called appropriately enough – Backstage. We’re mesmerised by looking at the amazing structure of the silk dresses, the dazzling leggings and tropical feathered pieces and accessories.

Fee is also working on opening the wonders of Mrs Jones up to the public, and her showroom-cum-shop in trendy north

Although her designs always grace the backs of pop superstars, the studio itself is pure rock ‘n roll with its chess board floor and amazing accoutrements, curtains and decadent chaises longues, - she’s even planning a furniture collaboration!

As if all this million watt coolness wasn’t enough, she’s also a thoroughly decent type who’s collaborated with Oxfam on recycled and second hand clothing as well. Check out this blog post we found, where she extols the virtues of using your old cowboy boots as plant pots! Brills skills doesn’t even begin to describe!
