Last Night's Best Dressed: SATC 2 London Premiere!

28 May 2010

As you are all well aware by now, the Sex and the City girls rolled into town last night for the London premiere of their second movie, much to the excitement of their British fans and us here at Grazia Daily. Having seen (and overly analysed) what outfits the fabulous foursome had to offer us in New York earlier this week, we all eagerly waited to see what fashion delights they would be wearing on this side of the pond. Here are last night's best dressed!

Sarah Jessica Parker wore an Alexander McQueen dress, lace heels and black armband in honour of the late designer, which she teamed with a Philip Treacey "Cloud" hat. If some of you eagle-eyed readers are getting a touch of deja vu it may be because of her dress - it's the black version of the dress she wore at the premiere of the first film.

Cynthia Nixon sported instant longer locks than usual and kept it relatively simple in a gorgeous teal blue Narcisco Rodriguez dress.

Kim Cattrall opted for a vintage Hollywood movie star look last night with this strapless black Thierry Mugler number from the 90s and Fred Leighton brooch.

Kim wasn't the only SATC star to wear vintage last night as Kristen Davis sparkled in a glamorous gold Norman Norrell halterneck dress paired with a Judith Leiber clutch.

Eternally youthful Kylie Minogue wore this black Spring/Summer 2010 Gucci gown, joking around with Louie Spence on the red carpet.

Doctor Who star Karen Gillan wore all Louis Vuitton, looking great in a long-sleeved black minidress cinched in with a metallic belt, black heels and a shiny drawstring bag. Her choice of dark dress and bright red lips works well with her Scottish pale skin, and she's fast becoming one to watch on the red carpet.

Finally, our Editor-in-Chief, Jane Bruton, looked suitably fabulous in a gorgeous Erdem dress. And of course such an outfit deserves a suitably fabulous carriage. A Sex and the City branded black cab? Perfect!
