We’ve had a girl crush over Dree Hemingway since last year (here’s the proof) and so we were rather excited to see our favourite lovely lady go for a spin in Cannes this week to strut her model behaviour and stylish stuff around. Pipping many other starlets to the post, she wowed the crowds, paps and Grazia’s discerning fashion team into crowning her as one of our best dressed.

The dress that awarded Dree with her very own ‘Cannes Moment’ was the scarlet red gown from Pucci. When searching through image archives of Dree’s different outfits from this year, we’ve noticed there’s one trend she does particularly well – the new longer length hem lines – three out of her five top looks pictured here have been maxi and that’s not due to red carpet etiquette, Dree just loves a long frock.

Her other golden moments this month have included a show-stopping flouro and nude ruched dress from Valentino for the L’Amfar event in Cannes last night (wowsers – if the boys didn’t know who she was before, they will do now!), a chic red mini dress for the "Art of Elysium Paradis Dinner and Party" on Michael Saylor's yacht, a crimped salmon pink column from Calvin Klein and her backless back tux jacket and floor skimming cream skirt also from Calvin Klein that she chose for fashion’s biggest do - the Costume Institute Met Ball. We love how she just scruffs up her hair for every event and keeps accessorising to a minimum – keeping all eyes on her killer bod, charming smile and well, just her general coolness. Definitely one girl to keep a very close eye on…
