Mossy's twelfth Topshop triumph!

20 May 2010

Well, we’re used to see her swathed in mink, and whooshing around New York in Lincoln town cars, but here Anna Wintour is, strolling down Brompton Road in Knightsbridge in a lightweight mac and beaming smile (and black shades, of course).

Oh yes. Kate Moss’s fashion designer credentials are now so heavyweight that the even editor of US Vogue can’t ignore them.

Last night’s opening ceremony at the Topshop branch with the posh SW1 London postcode was a completely star studded event, with the likes of Nicola Robertson, Daisy Lowe, Jamie Winston,

designer Barbara Hulanicki, Alexandra Burke and Yasmin Le Bon (wearing a slashed back leather dress from Sharon Wauchob’s autumn winter ‘10 collection) and socialite Charlotte Dellal.

Phillip Green (or Uncle Phil, as Kate calls him), was looking like the cat who got the cream, alongside his fetching wife, Tina and daughter Chloe.

Kate herself was resplendent in the teeniest tiniest of playsuits, black opaques and Loubys. The breviety of the shorts backed up her remarks to Grazia this week, where she admitted “Even if I’ve done something quite classic, I always want it shorter – I want things shorter and shorter!”Kate herself was resplendent in the teeniest tiniest of playsuits, black opaques and Loubys.
