Lara’s Dress was GOLD!

Ever since we first heard that the very wonderful Riccardo Tisci would be designing Lara Stone’s wedding dress, we have been dreaming about the kind of exquisite haute couture creation Givenchy’s Creative Director would magic up.
And he didn’t disappoint. The dress for the ceremony was a flowing, cream lace corset dress, edged with golden chain; demure yet sexy (major uplift!), and reported to have a price tag of £30, 000. (see next week’s magazine for pics!). It was worn with a matching silk crepeline cape..

But, of course, being a model, who is used to multiple quick-changes between looks, naturally this wasn’t Lara’s only outfit for her big day…
Straight after the ceremony, the bride changed into a SECOND Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci haute couture gown  - a  jaw-dropping gold minidress that was covered in an intricate, swirling mosaic of gold and silver sequins. The gleaming gown (and Lara’s tiny waist) were proudly shown off by the bride, alongside her suavely tuxedoed groom David Walliams, outside the wedding venue, Claridges hotel, yesterday evening.
(Stay tuned for even more wedding details coming up next on Grazia Daily..!)
