From one Great British institution to another . . . this gorgeous coffee table book by photographer Venetia Dearden chronicles the magic and mystery of the Glastonbury Festival (40 years old this year! Happy birthday chaps!) AND favourite purveyor of covetable British classics Mulberry are hosting an exhibition for her. Synnergy doesn’t even begin to describe it.
As we all get geared up for the festie season, outfit planning, tent cleaning and searching for a torch in the cupboard under the stairs, this glossy gleaming book gives everyone a little shiver to think about how fun Glastonbury actually is and the real characters that inhabit that strange summertime temporary world.
Anyway, to celebrate the launch, Mulberry have organised a fab website section where you can explore the collaboration on Mulberry.com which will be regularly updated with images and content from the events. Visitors can enter to win the ultimate festival survival kit – which includes such goodies as a signed copy of the book, badges, stickers, and a limited edition Mulberry t-shirt, all in an exclusive Hemp bag stamped with the brand’s festival slogan - “Peace Love Mud”!
