Jeanette's Basement Invasion

Super-stylist, London clubbing legend and most-fashionable-drag-queen-turned-shop-keeper in town Jeanette (for, just like Madonna, he needs only one name!) launched his basement invasion in appropriately fabulous style this week.

Of course no party would be complete without a sprinkling of celebrities, step forward Ben Grimes, Dominic Jones and Louise Gray plus a healthy dose of in-store entertainment – courtesy of tranny-punk act, Lady Noise, and plenty of gin to wash it down with. (Plymouth if you ask)

Even if you missed the party, the uber cool basement space is now open (in START’s basement, in the heart of Shoreditch, no less) and the hand-picked merchandise includes such beauties as Jonathan Saunders dresses, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and pieces from Louise Gray, Blaak and Roksanda Illincic.

Coooo! We’ll be paying you a visit muy pronto Mr Jeanette!
