Erin Fetherston for Juicy Couture – Track it down!

Erin Fetherston, the best looking designer ever to wield a pair of scissors is going to take a walk on the tracksuit side, we heard today. The girly/streety label Juicy Couture has recruited her services as ‘guest designer and creative consultant’ for the next couple of years.

 Those in the fashwan biz all nodded their perfectly coiffed heads approvingly when they heard the news. Erin is young with a heavenly fringe, perfect personal style and has single handedly created a brand with the kind of yummy yet ‘take me seriously’ style that attracts the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Zooey Deschanel and Karen Elson as clients.

A Native of the states, Erin based her brand in Paris for years, although it is now shown in New York. As all the best designers tend to, Erin splits her time between designing for her mainline as well as working on collaborations – a previous effort was a successful range for US budget chain, Target.

A former finalist in the Vogue/CFDA talent fund, Miss Fetherstone is expected to bring a touch of edgy modernity to her Juicy Couture line, although we’ve heard that she’s a big fan of the sporty velour trackies and is keen not to tamper too much with their winning formula.

Oh, we are WELL looking forward to seeing the results of this one!
