A Week in the Style of Cheryl Cole

We can’t really call it a break-over, because Cheryl Cole’s fashion game has been played pretty darn high for the past year or two anyway, but there’s something about a personal crisis that can make you fight (fight, fight, fight) to look fabulous at every opportunity – else you do a Bridget Jones and just sit around in your jammies eating cereal out of a box. Luckily for lovely Chezza, she’s chosen glamorous option A and has been more than happy to show her new outfits to the paparazzi during her stay in Paris this past week. And doesn’t she look super smiley and not at all down in the dumps? Well, when you’re alternating between a great Granville bag from Christian Dior and a crystal embellished tote from Prada, you’d probably have a little something to smile about too.

As queen of the micro mini dress, it’s been interesting to see Cheryl move into the realm of trousers – she looked great in this season’s key style, the slim cargo pants (hers are from Notify) as well as a couple of pairs of coloured splattered denim skinnies from Citizens of Humanity. We particularly loved the beige ones teamed with an open knit loose (yes, not skin tight!) jumper from Whistles...this girl can do high street too, you know!

But it’s not all change, classic Cheryl-isms like her diamante studded peeptoe Louboutins, the poofiest of all poofy hair *jealous*, some supersize sunnies and chunky jewellery still remain. And she hasn’t ditched body con altogether – her black and white lace insert dress from Sass & Bide looked killer with a-ma-zing heels from Nicholas Kirkwood. Go Cheryl!
