Well hello sunshine! For the long weekend, celebs across the globe got into the Easter spirit with an array of pale pastels and fresh frocks befitting the spring season (except for a certain troublesome twosome...). Yep, we are happy indeed. But what say you?
Woohoo, nice curves! The always alluring Dita Von Teese looked like a work of art when she rocked up to the Rockabilly Weekend in Las Vegas wearing a voluminous vintage Vivienne Westwood dress teamed with those ever-so-feminine Marie Antoinette Louboutins. Suffice to say we luuurve it.
La Alba also went down the pretty print route by returning to her trusty biker + cute dress combo while Whitters similarly donned a floral design for a jaunt in the city. Gosh, she's cool. And look there’s more...
...in the fluffy shape of Kate Moss. Well what can we say about this one? She certainly deserves some love for dressing up like a spring chicken (albeit a purple-ish rock chick one) and let’s be honest, she’s one of the few people who can actually get away with an enormous jacket reminiscent of an emu. Good work, Mossy. You've done it again.
The pink tweed! The gold capped Loubs! The forceful thighs! Bravo brave Beyonce. We’ve totally fallen in love with such glamming-up of cut-off denim– just add oodles of jewels plus superstar sunnies at voila! Olivia Palermo’s silky shorts also went down a storm when she hit the New York tiles on Saturday. Always looking shiny and sophisticated, O.P rustled up another exceptionally well-groomed ensemble perfect for a spring evening on the town: not too fancy, not too casual. In fact, it’s just right. Quelle surprise!
It was a good day for white dresses when not one but two starlets stepped out in matchy-matchy shifts. Both Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Love Hewitt looked resplendent and ready for the sun in their LWDs, proving that whether floaty or fitted, this is the way to embrace the season. Although it seems not all would agree...
...Because behold Mary Kate and Ashley who subverted the Easter expectations by looking set for a Tim Burton convention. The duo sported some spooky attire consisting of head-to-toe black, sheer skirts and enormous sunnies (at night, we might add), leading us to conclude the girls are in need of a good spring clean. Yes yes, we know that nobody does goth glam quite like the Olsen twins but c’mon, there’s really no excuse for a Morticia Addams homage during the weekend of bunnies, primroses and colourful chocolate eggs, no? Leave it to Courtney Love next time please.
