We've been to Bicester -Designer heaven!

31 March 2010

A morning spent choosing between gorgeous collections from some of London's best designers at 50% off? It's a hard old life at Grazia Daily. Phew, we've just got off the train from our fashion school trip - the press launch for the BRAND NEW (!!) British Designers Collective shop at Bicester Outlet Village - shopping destination of those in the know. Here's Erin O Connor with designer Todd Lynn; Erin was there with Harold Tillman of the British Fashion Council (who are behind the Pop Up project) to cut the ribbon.

The gleaming new store, which is open until May is slickly laid out with the last seasons bits from London's hippest designers from Osman to Felder Felder, Todd Lynn, Hannah Marshall and PPQ with shoes by Atlanta Weller and jewels by Fiona Paxton, also has an eye catching canopy of golden umbrellas. We love!

Oh, and we almost forgot to mention - everything is whoppingly discounted (and we do mean EVERYTHING) with prices up to 50% off. Oh yes, it's not easy to tempt us Graziettas away from the bright lights of W1 but, somehow - the words 'gorgeous designer threads at half price' had us sprinting down the platform for the next train to Bicester.

We make a break for the fitting rooms to try and make up our minds about which Erdem piece we want . . . .

And time to catch a quick moment with dynamic design duo Felder Felder before stepping back in the London direction with bags in tow. If only every Wednesday was like this!
