We are currently so completely head over heels in love with the Alexa bag (now available in tweed *squeals*) that it's easy to forget that Mulberry also create to-die-for shoes and clothing too. And it seems the Ms-Chung-inspired too-cool-for-school satchel is part of a running theme for the label this season, which is promising "a dreamy take on school crushes and fairground iconography, sharpened with teen angst" - a little bit Virgin Suicides, and with more than a nod to the colourful naivety of Tim Walker’s photography in the current ad campaign - think nudey shades and sweet, sugary colours.

And now, to celebrate the season’s playful charm, the Brit label is launching ‘the Mulberry Playground’ in the basement of its flagship Bond Street store; a one-stop shop of crush-worthy, colourful accessories to brighten up any outfit. From adorable summery mid-height sandals to fringey sharp-hued suede ankle boots, and tiny make-up bags and purses printed with this season's signature candy-coloured fairground carousel and party-balloon digi-prints.
Funny, we really don't remember our school days being THIS gorgeous..
