Aw just look at lovely Maggie G! Leicester Square saw the UK premiere of 'Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang' where Gyllenhaal stuck to monochromatic modesty with a demure silk crepe dress. Although we’re delighted to see Maggie turning to the chic European draping of French house Vionnet, at first glance we were a tad disappointed she’d ditched those vibrant prints she sported on the Oscars red carpet. But upon further examination, we were pleasantly surprised to see the simple black frock is actually not so simple... The one sleeve, the uneven hemline and that contrasting pleated insert pull Mags out of drab-dom and add the avant garde twist we’ve come to expect. Phewf!
Kate Moss was back to her bewitching ways last night and transfixed guests at the Mummy Rocks party, but it wasn’t just her impromptu karaoke sesh that stole the show (course not). In fact, it was her figure-flaunting Dolce & Gabbana LBD sexed up by corset-inspired detailing that really caught our attention and added a sultry touch to her rock chic oeuvre. Still sporting a smudge of red lippy and that YSL tux jacket she just can’t part ways with, Mossy partied away in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity at the Bloomsbury Ballroom, proving that she sure is one rocking yummy mummy (ha!).
And here’s why we adore Chloe Sevigny. Joining in the fun for the first hockey game in 3D telecast at Madison Square Garden, La Sev went for a casual combo but it’s the little details that really add to that cool aesthetic she’s become famous for - those rolled up jeans to reveal studded boots, the tee tucked into the high waist, the smart tux... Hell, the girl can even make 3D glasses look cool. Not fair.
