Dispatches from the Beauty Cupboard: Summer Skin

19 March 2010

This week on Dispatches from the Beauty Cupboard, we're talking summer! Now, you may think we're being a tad premature but considering our fellow beauty colleagues have just jet-setted over to Mexico (where they're shooting future beauty stories for the magazine), we deemed it the perfect opportunity for them to trial three new beauty products, so we'll be prepared come sunshine time.

First up, we have Nivea Sun's new Protect & Bronze, from £12.55, www.nivea.co.uk. With special technology, it not only protects your skin from sun burn but it cleverly stimulates the melanin responsible for protection and tanning which means a better, more even tan. Woop!

We've also sent the team off with Estee Lauder's new Exotic Bronzing Blush, £26, 0870 034 2566 from their Bronze Goddess range. Swirl the two colours together and you'll get a flattering look for any skin tone shade.

Finally, for a instant hit of summer and sophistication, I've armed them with YSL's new Nail Polish in 143, £16. It's a gorgeous lilac shade that's going to be the 'it' shade of summer, mark our words.

Now all we need is the sun... Bring some rays back from Mexico please, girls!
