Farewell fashionable FROWers. The mean streets of NY, London, Milan and Paris are empty of the striding style elite until the next Fashion Week cycle. How will we survive without a daily dose of schleb spotting from the shows, we hear you cry. But fear not fash-addicts because on this fine Friday, we have an extra special treat just for you - in the shape of Jennifer Aniston.
Here in the Grazia office, we’ve become rather besotted with Jen and her glamourous lifestyle (you may have noticed) but it’s not often that we reserve our adulation for her sartorial choices. Although we appreciate her casual chic and those enviable locks, her wardrobe rotates around long black dresses alternated with grey tees (yawn) so we’re sure you understand she’s often overlooked for the Olsens and Chungs of the fash world. Until last night happened and well, WOWZER! Jen landed on Leicester Square’s red carpet last night for the premiere of The Bounty Hunter kitted out in a shimmering delight and in the name of fashion, we felt it fitting to dedicate today’s Best Dressed to our favourite Friend. Because what a treat to catch sight of those leggy legs – all bronzed and toned to perfection — showcased by a metallic mini-dress.
And aren’t we proud to see she’s returned to the beauties of Valentino AW09 couture after causing such a sizzle at last year's Love Happens premiere in a similar silver tunic dress from the same collection, remember? Could the metallic mini be pulling Jen out of her LBD mould? Here's hoping!
Yesterday's frock, glinting with muted silver beading, perfectly compliments her bright, light eyes and as seen by the parade of starlets who rocked the Oscars in silver gowns, heavy metal is the fast track to edgy cool. The jury’s still out on those Jimmy Choo sandals though, so now it’s over to you lot. Were you loving her look? Or should Jen have stuck to what she does best?
