Grazia Daily has made no secret of the fact that we have a MASSIVE girl crush on fashion goddess Roksanda Ilincic, whose recent impossibly-perfect LFW collection of screen siren daywear and movie star elegant evening gowns has further convinced us that all her clothes are probably sewn together by magic bluebirds and fairies, like in a Disney movie.

So as you can imagine, news of the imminent arrival of the designer’s second collection for Whistles is proving to be quite a distraction in our offices. We’ve barely recovered from her debut collection for the store – with its foxy cocktail frocks in fabulously sophisticated non-obvious colours, embellished with sexy catwalky black poppy corsages.

To launch the new collection, Whistles has shot a short film to showcase the clothes. The film will be premiered on the Whistles website at 4pm today followed by another screening at 8pm this evening.
Not only does the screening offering the first view of the collection in full, but the film will also feature a pop up window ‘for customers to reserve their desired dress in advance’ (we love how this sounds like how customers might have placed their orders following a haute couture salon presentation in the 1950s).

Once the films have been shown, they will not available to be seen again until the following week, and the reservation window will close.

(in short: order today, or weep with remorse for the next week...)

Grazia Daily has an exclusive preview clip of the film offering a a tantalizing teaser of the film, and one beaoootiful dress (on the gorgeous Daphne, who is set to be huge next year and is already a favourite of superstylist Katie Grand).
