Boredom Buster - our LFW soundtrack

26 February 2010

Ta-da! Boredom buster is back (after a week off during LFW madness where there simply wasn’t time to be bored… without being busted by our Editor)!
Here at Grazia we’re all down in the post-fashion week dumps (where have all the parties and glamorous people gone????), so thought we’d take you all on a trip down memory lane (from, like the weekend/earlier this week), with a selection of songs we heard on the catwalk.  So grab some super-high heels and get your strut on to these!

Comedy genius and a proper tune too! The Pet Shop Boys Absolutely Fabulous put a massive smile on our faces during the Fashion East show.

In our humble opinions, Mulberry’s choice of The Jungle Book theme was totally inspired and wins the prize for best LFW theme of all time!

Burberry went for the less-than-uplifting No Regrets by Midge Ure… Not a song for a sunny day, but beautiful none-the-less.

Richard Nicoll was definitely one of our fave shows this season – therefore, we’re currently loving Iggy Pop’s Night Clubbing - perfect pre-night-out tune!

Roksanda took us to disco heaven with Native New Yorker by Odyssey.

Ok – so these two weren’t actually played on the catwalk, BUT, Marc Almond (at Todd Lynn), and Janet Jackson (at Todd Lynn and Vivienne Westwood), were our two favourite celeb FROW spots!
Classic, classic, classic – one of the top 5 best songs ever made, ever! Marc Almond, Tainted Love.
JJ at her most fierce – Rhianna, watch and learn! Janet Jackson, What have you done for me lately.
