VIDEO: The scoop from Day Two of London Fashion Week

The sun started shining for Day 2 at London Fashion Week, a good omen for the brilliant clothes we were set to see on the catwalks…

We’re already in love with newcomer Michael van der Ham’s beautiful patchwork dresses, and his exquisite show has rocketed next season’s collection to the top of our shopping list (we’re putting our names on that waiting list asap).

First sighting of Alexa! At Topshop’s Unique show, alongside our other girl crushes Olivia Palermo and Julia Roitfeld. And Unique brought great news - we’re going to look cool and tough and sexy next season… and we’re going to be toasty-warm! A Unique furry jacket is now our cold weather must-have, and the furry animal head hats are our favourite styling quirk of the shows so far. Designer Karen Bonser told us about her inspirations and whether or not we’ll be able to buy those hats!

Does anyone have more fun in fashion than Henry Holland? His collection of bandana printed pieces, complete with doo-rags and ghetto fabulous earrings and his new range of Twitter inspired acronym T shirts (IYF – In Your Face), brought the House (of Holland) down, and showed that the 90's revival is alive and kicking for Autumn. We talked to a Tiggerishly bouncy Henry backstage after the show.

Fashion is fun, but it also needs to sell, so we’re thrilled to be bringing back Start boutique owner Brix Smith Start to cast her expert buyer’s eye over the collections, and tell us what she knows will be flying off the rails next season.

And finally Paula Reed is back from NYFW! What shall we buy Paula? Tell! Tell! Our Style Director tells us the trends that matter, and the pieces we should purchase…
