Mark Ronson for Zadig and Voltaire

Zadig & Voltaire’s latest campaign is continuing with its theme of couples in love with these touching portraits of Mark Ronson and Joséphine de la Baume. Aah, we think a small section of our heart just melted away.

This, the most stylish Franco-British couple since Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, who met behind the decks of a Paris nightclub have been selected by Zadig & Voltaire founder Thierry Gillier. He’s spotted the rock ‘n’ roll credentials of these two young lovers, and has cleverly aligned that with the brand.

The ads see the couple gabolling freely around the fashion capital Paris, surrounded by amazing sights but only having eyes for each other. Bless! Ronson, we know to be the trumpet loving musical maverick DJ and producer behind the sound of Amy and Lily, while Joséphine is a French model, actress and singer.

The campaign was shot by Olivier Zahm. The art curator, photographer, and founder of achingly cool French style mag Purple is of the realistic, or anti-fashion school of snapping, and sometimes compared to counterculture figures like Juergen Teller and Terry Richardson. Bravo!

We’ve thought it through, and decided not to make any negative comments about wanting a boy to whisk US to Paris this month. We’ll go with a mate instead. Magnifique!
