Temperley launching a second line

Alice by Temperley

Her feminine frocks are already favoured by Keira Knightley and Sarah Jessica Parker, and now luscious London-centric brand Temperley, designed by Alice Temperley is launching a second line which will be called Alice. Excellent news for those of us with a more restricted budget than SJP. Here is a sneaky peak from some of the campaign.

The collection looks pretty fresh and feminine to us, little dresses that are also laid back enough to wear during the day, perhaps with some woolly tights and a great jacket or even a mac. And there's that tiger print, which is fast becoming the signature of the brand.

A Graduate of London’s Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, Alice Temperley always specialised in fab frocks for London’s it girls but over the years, she has garnered more and more respect from the fashion press and the label as grown. They now show at New York fashion week, where the brand is synonymous with rock n’ roll romance. Above are two looks from Temperley's mainline SS10 collection.

We had our first clues that the diffusion line was going to be a right ol’ success when we spotted at least four fashionable celebs (like Fearne and Ben Grimes) mincing around town in their blue tiger-print scarves, and now we’ve seen some of the clothes were know our suspicions were correct.

The collection will be stocked in net-a-porter, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Harrods and prices will start from £55 for a scarf.
